Spanish-native speaker here. I've lived in the USA for 5 years and I work in an environment that demands good communication skills. Every day I struggle to speak and give clear and concise messages, not only that but my peers struggled to understand me. I had very little confidence driving meetings because the audience would lose attention because they couldn't understand me. Fed up of that situation I enrolled to the "American Accent Training for Professionals" course. I didn't know what to expect and I was afraid of speaking. Anyways, first class I was mind blown. Christine, the teacher, not only has a lot of years of experience helping professionals under her belt, she gave a class very dynamic, with a lot of participation between peers and combining theory and practice. During the course she showed us how to progress, what accent patterns of our native language could be getting into the way and how to improve them, how to practice solo and with people. Also the other classmates were very open and social, we were a multicultural class with people from India, China, Mongolia, Russia, Poland and Mexico which it was great because I get to hear different accents. Overall, I would recommend this course for anyone that wants to improve her/his accent. I feel that now I have the tools to improve it.

Thanks to the accent training package by Christine Dunbar, I see a noticeable change in my speech. I have received a complete analysis of my speech and related video and lessons to correct my errors accordingly. Christine was always available to answer questions and gave me very good advice. I am now more aware of the typical speech patterns of Farsi native speakers, and try to correct myself. I recommend Speech Modification to all non-native speakers of English. Shadi

The 6 week course was better that what I was expecting. The material was exactly what I need to become a better English Speaker. I learned more about "American Pronunciation" on this 6 weeks course than the entire time I lived in the USA. Christine really cares about her students and she give you a lot of resources you can use! I definitely will be taking more classes with Christine!
